Oasis is an all-in-one system for rainwater harvesting. By collecting a building’s rainwater and reusing it wherever possible you can save on drinking water and help protect and preserve a valuable natural resource at the same time.
Hydraloop is an all-in-one system that collects and processes water from showers and washbasins to make it clean again. This treated water is then used where drinking water is not needed, such as for flushing toilets or for washing machines. Indeed, Hydraloop saves perfectly fine drinking water with no compromises.
Geyser is a heat recovery system installed directly at the outlet of the shower drain that saves the energy needed for your water heater – just one more Ecotime feature to improve your home’s energy efficiency.
Why it’s becoming more and more urgent to conserve our resources
Water recycling is key part of a global approach to sustainability that not only manages consumption of drinking water more efficiently but also helps conserve precious freshwater resources.
In both the construction and real estate sectors, the site’s infrastructure water wastage from rainwater, greywater and drinking water, is substantially reduced while promoting green certification (LEED certification – as applied to resource-efficient buildings).
Better yet, this means consumers save money on water rate bills without giving up familiar habits or worrying about any watering bans in effect.
Heat recovery also conserves resources by reducing energy consumption as part of a sustainable development approach.
At the macro level, heat recovery systems reduce pressure on the electricity grid during peak consumption. The installation of this type of system also applies construction requirements for LEED certification (e.g. mandatory in every new building in Ontario and Manitoba).
Now’s the time to benefit from Ecotime recycling savings by both reducing your energy bills and extending your water heater’s life expectancy.
