What is the Oasis rainwater harvesting system?
Oasis is an all-in-one rainwater harvesting & management system that lets you recycle your building’s rainwater to help save on water consumption. This technology replaces your site’s tap water by re-using collected rainwater where the water doesn’t have to be potable. Examples include water used for flushing toilets and urinals, for exterior watering or for everyday washing and cleaning. In fact, the Oasis offers diverse applications depending on the type of building in which it is installed.
Ecotime’s water recycling system is quite simple – Oasis acts as a rainwater collector for any watertight surfaces i.e. such as the roof and gutters of your building. The system then processes this water to ensure it is clean and safe. Oasis then redistributes the recycled rainwater wherever and whenever needed.
Better yet, whenever there’s a heavy downpour, it collects rainwater in its overflow reservoir tank. Thanks to the system automation and remote operation you can optimize stormwater management without any fuss or further ado when it comes to your regular day-to-day water usage.

How does the Oasis rainwater harvesting system work?
Rainwater harvesting involves collecting rainwater from impermeable surfaces that not only saves tapwater but also avoids any wasteful usage of that water. Examples include toilet flushing and general washing and cleaning. Besides conventional everyday use, water is also needed in many areas, including for cooling systems, washing vehicles, filling tanker cisterns and even for hockey rink maintenance.
The Oasis system follows 3 simple steps:
1. Rainwater is harvested from the roof and gutters and then directed into Ecotime’s collection system.
2. Water is pre-filtered, stored and finally treated directly by Oasis to meet the industry’s most rigorous standards.
3. Water is then used for different applications whereby the recycled water doesn’t need to be potable.
Rainwater collected from the roof of a building often contains vegetative waste such as leaves, branches or pollen. Any flotsam and jetsam is diverted before the roof water enters the system. This results in effective pre-filtration upstream, before it can do any damage to the internal filtration system.
Rainwater harvesting is greatly simplified thanks to the Oasis system. Indeed, it is remotely controllable and has an enhanced AI capability to send alerts in case of any maintenance needs. In addition, it provides timely weather forecast info to optimize performance.
